How To Walk Down The Aisle: 5 Tips to Perfectly Time Your Processional

1️⃣ CHOOSE WHICH PORTION you want to walk into - after choosing which song you wanna walk down the aisle too, you’ll wanna choose which portion of your song you want to make your entrance. Some couples choose to have a totally different song for their wedding party processional, and others choose the same song that impactful moment of it.

2️⃣ LET YOUR MUSICIAN KNOW that’s the part you’d like to make your entrance to - make sure when you are talking with your musician to let them know which part of the song you’d like. That way they can make sure to time it correctly so that the door is open and you make your entrance during the most impactful moment for you.

3️⃣ ASK YOUR MUSICIAN for a suggestion if you’re not sure which portion or song would be best - if you’re not sure which moment of the song would be best to walk into, ask musician. They’ll have a recommendation of either a verse or chorus or bridge, depending on which part of matters most to you.

4️⃣ CHOOSE A PROFESSIONAL musician who can adapt in the moment - they’ll be an expert at knowing how to watch for the perfect timing and adapt on the fly, no matter what’s happening, if the flower girl takes longer or a bridesmaid is walking, particularly slowly.

5️⃣ PRACTICE WALKING in during that part during your rehearsal - when you’re doing your rehearsal, practice, walking into that particular portion of the song. Have someone bring their phone and a small Bluetooth speaker to play it. Even if it will be live the next day it will at least give you a chance to practice.

Keeping in mind, a few things will help you ensure the moment you walk down the aisle creates a lasting memory you’ll recall every time you hear your special song.
