A Fairytale Wedding Melody: Jennifer & Max Tie the Knot at The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

Performing at weddings is a privilege, but Jennifer and Max's Disney World wedding at the Swan Reserve holds a special place in my heart. Everything, from their music selections to the stunning backdrop, wove a beautiful fairytale melody.

Setting the Stage For Forever: Love Songs and Breathtaking Views

The iconic melody of Louis Armstrong's "We Have All the Time in the World" filled the air with a timeless promise as the wedding party processed in. This classic from the James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," perfectly captured the couple's commitment.

Then, for Jennifer's walk down the aisle, the mood shifted to the heartwarming optimism of "What a Wonderful World," another Louis Armstrong masterpiece. This song held a special significance as it was a favorite of Jennifer's late father. Witnessing her emotional walk under the Florida sunshine, with the Epcot ball shimmering in the distance, was a truly unforgettable moment.

A Ceremony Steeped in Love and Music

The power of music to elevate emotions and create lasting memories is never more evident than at a wedding. Curating the perfect ceremony playlist is an honor, and for Jennifer and Max, it was a collaborative effort. Their selections reflected their personalities and the love story they were weaving.

The ceremony concluded with the joyful exuberance of "Cinderella: Finale," sending the newly minted husband and wife off on their happily ever after with a touch of Disney magic.

From High School Sweethearts to Happily Ever After

Jennifer's heartfelt words about their love story added another layer of magic to the day. Though they went to the same high school but were a year apart, fate intervened through a mutual friend in college. Reconnecting and starting to date in 2007, they've been inseparable ever since.

Max's sweet proposal in front of the Christmas tree, complete with their dog Ace joining the moment, is a memory Jennifer cherishes. And yes, there's a hilarious detail about the ring ending up on the wrong finger – a testament to Max's endearing anticipation!

A Dream Team of Wedding Vendors Makes the Magic Happen

No wedding is complete without a talented team of vendors working behind the scenes. A big shoutout goes out to Just Marry!, the event coordinators who ensured everything ran smoothly. Captured By Elle captured the day's beauty in stunning photos and videos, while Darcy MM Makeup Artistry and Tracy Manoli ensured Jennifer looked radiant.

Hearts and Souls Event Management provided a fun photo booth for guests to capture the memories, and Our DJ Rocks kept the party going later in the evening. Design of the Times provided the exquisite floral arrangements that added a touch of elegance to the celebration.

A Cocktail Hour Filled with Familiar Tunes

Following the ceremony, the mood shifted to a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere during the cocktail hour. For this portion, I drew on a wide variety of songs, keeping the Disney theme alive while incorporating some classic favorites perfect for an Orlando setting.

Jennifer mentioned how much her guests enjoyed the music selection, “Highly recommend Aloha Erica! I am so glad I found Aloha Erica and booked her to provide the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Erica listened to my vision for the ceremony music and brought it to life with beautiful renditions of the songs we picked. Erica also alleviated the stress of ensuring that the music cues/changes would work and were timed correctly. She provided music for cocktail hour and numerous guests commented how much they enjoyed the music. She is extremely professional and organized, and was a pleasure to work with. I absolutely would recommend Aloha Erica for any music wedding needs you may have!”

Creating a musical atmosphere that complements the occasion and sets the right tone is a goal I strive for at every wedding.

A Night to Remember Under the Orlando Sky

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the Swan Reserve, Jennifer and Max's wedding transformed into a lively reception filled with dancing, laughter, heartfelt toasts, and even an appearance from some favorite Disney characters. Knowing that the music I provided played a part in creating this unforgettable celebration is a true honor.

More Than Just Music: The Power of Creating Memories

For me, being a wedding singer is more than just performing songs. It's about weaving music into the fabric of a couple's special day, creating an emotional tapestry that will stay with them forever. Jennifer and Max's Disney World wedding was a beautiful testament to the power of music and love, and I'm incredibly grateful to have been a part of their happily ever after.
